Right now it is more important than ever to have a strong immune system and to be healthy and fit. We want to strengthen our natural defences against any virus or illness and the best way to do so is by establishing a balanced diet that is based on intuitive eating and that’s sustainable. You will never have to diet again.
In Nutrition Academy, you can lose weight, gain weight, work on your sports performance, learn about childhood nutrition and that of the elderly – whether you’re interested in certain aspects or all of it, you have come to the right place! My aim is to bring Nutrition Coaching to the masses, to teach You and others on the importance of nutrients, minerals and vitamins and how to build a balanced diet that allows you to enjoy life on your terms.
Nutrition Academy will run for 12 weeks with weekly personalised Health Reports to track your improving Nutrient Profile as we journey through these upcoming months together. Every week there will be video seminars where you and others will have all your pressing Nutrition questions answered and I know you have plenty!
My reason for creating Nutrition Academy is the lack of information available in mainstream media. It is a well known fact that health magazines rarely give out useful and specific information for individuals and often create vague and frustrating content for many since no actual tips are being given out. I noticed the lack and I want to fix this part of the industry – let there be no more withheld information. My goal is to pass on as much Nutrition knowledge as possible.
In Nutrition Academy I will cover all topics from digestion, nutrients, optimising food intake and timing all the way over to the other end of the spectrum: supplements and if they’re worth the money (most of them are not); how to read food packaging in stores and how to never be fooled by another advertisement again. There are legal requirements for food labels and ads, however you would be surprised as to how often false or misleading claims end up on ad campaigns!
Nutrition Academy will run for 12 weeks from the 8th of February to 3rd of May when you all will “graduate” with a cornucopia of information on health and nutrition, which I encourage you to share with your friends and family. Sharing really is caring! Nutrition Academy costs £120 per household for the whole of 12 weeks or £50/month for 3 months.
Here’s what Nutrition Academy has to offer to you:
- Personalised program to match your individual Nutrition goals;
- Invite only access to the Libro App, which feeds information directly to my professional Nutrition software for daily/weekly analysis;
- Weekly Health Reports in pdf form straight from the Nutritics software, which will allow us to track the intake of every single nutrient and therefore optimise your diet step by step;
- Planned weight/fat loss: lowest safe expected weight loss every week is 0,5kg, however, on average in a 12 week period, my clients lose 0,7-1kg a week. Weight loss should really be addressed as fat loss and can be achieved by ensuring the correct protein/fat/carbohydrate ratio to avoid muscle loss through reckless calorie deficit. Disclaimer: Your results/lack of will depend directly on how you utilise Nutrition information received from me in group chats or Video Seminars.
- Planned weight/muscle gain: lowest safe expected weight gain per week is 0,5kg and I don’t encourage a bigger increase of calories than that. Weight gain should always be a monitored high protein diet with the right ratios of carbohydrates and fats to encourage muscle gain over fat gain.
- Weight maintenance and diet optimisation: Without restricting your calories, you will be able to make sure that your daily/weekly food intake grants you optimal health as both macronutrients (protein, fats, carbohydrates) and micronutrients (water-soluble vitamins, fat-soluble vitamins and minerals) are the source of important components in our diets that allow our bodies to build strong bones and muscles and to ensure the health of our vital organs all the way from the inside out.
- Weekly Video Seminars where you and all other participants can dial in to chat to me live and have all your questions answered. Each week we will discuss a different aspect of Nutrition, to name a few: macronutrients, digestion, hydration (water, coffee, alcohol), eating out/takeaways, food and diet myths, shopping guides, thermogenesis, MPS (muscle protein synthesis), the importance of glycogen (carbs) and how to use it to our advantage, etc.
- Nutrition Academy is for the whole household. NB! Only adults (18+) are allowed to be on weight loss programs, however monitoring a minor’s food intake is acceptable and safe. My recommendation for you is to send me all Childhood Nutrition related questions in advance so I can carefully prepare segments for children. It is very important that children are allowed to eat intuitively so they will always have a healthy relationship with food.
- Nutrition Academy will never put you on a 1000 or 1200 calorie diet. Nutrition Academy is about learning to listen to our bodies in order to restore the skill of intuitive eating and by consuming highly nutritious meals, you will always feel full.
- Nutrition Academy is Group Nutrition Coaching where likeminded individuals come together to learn more about Nutrition. Knowledge is power and after completing this course, you will be equipped with scientifically accurate nutrition information that no health magazine or mainstream media outlet can rival!
