Want to know how to fluff up your omelettes? 🤗 . To get your omelettes looking and tasting perfect, it’s important to use the correct cooking techniques and to be present throughout. This omelette will be ready in under 2 minutes! 😍 . Tips for the perfect French omelette: 🥚Use the correct size pan; 🥚Use 2-3 eggs; 🥚You can add a splash of milk to the egg mix; 🥚Use butter to cook, not oil; 🥚Serve and eat immediately to avoid it going rubbery as it cools. 😊 . This morning I made the simple but delicious mushroom feta omelette again minus the tomatoes since I didn’t have any. First I fried the mushrooms in freshly minced garlic and set aside until I prepared the eggs. . Pour the mixture on the pan right after the burger has melted and stopped sizzling. Then immediately start to fold the eggs towards the centre, allowing the liquid egg to flow into the space. Continue until there is no more liquid; at this point the omelette will be runny on top. Add your fillings now and fold the omelette in half, cook for another 30 seconds max and slide it onto the plate. And then - enjoy your eggy goodness! 😍 . This technique is so simple that even kids can do it and it will be a great alternative to their usual breakfasts. “Rahel, how are you so happy all the time?” 🤗 . I mean, it’s impossible to be angry when you’re dancing to such an amazing tune and choreo by @officialjcdt 😍 . But, truthfully, I’m not happy all the time and have moods like every other person. But what I do try to do is to focus on the positives! 😍 . Stress comes from us trying to control the uncontrollable: the future. Whether it is immediate, near or distant future, the only thing that can stress us out is that which hasn’t happened yet. Once we realise that there is no control over the future and we only have control over ourselves, beautiful things start to happen. We are at ease. We feel our bodies become relaxed and time slows down. ☺️ . The best example to bring is my dancing. God, watching this video I am so proud of myself for coming this far since April! Dancehall will always be a passion of mine and nothing feels better than nailing choreo and flowing effortlessly. 🤗 . But, if you take other dance styles that I’m still learning, you’ve seen exactly what those can do to me. Hip hop and house can frustrate me so much that I’m ready to walk out the door mid class because I feel useless! 🙈 . This week I got an amazing bit of advice from @dancingverona - she said that even if you only learn ONE THING in a class then it’s a good class! 🔥 You don’t have to “get” it all, you don’t have to excel every time. But find the one good thing and focus on that! You know, like we usually focus on the one bad thing in a multitude of great things? Yeah, that. Turn that around and see how your life changes! 😍 . Yesterday I did two 90 minute workshops and had to leave before the end of the second one. My legs and bum were pumped and wouldn’t work anymore, my knees hurt and my brain was fried. Although I hated tapping out, I told myself that I had already learned more than I had expected to and that it was okay to leave. This way I left smiling because I was feeling empowered and not defeated. ☺️ . So, mentality is everything!
